Went to my secret beach fishing spot in 8.2 (humpy hollow) last year. Personal i wasn't expecting to catch any fish this day, maybe humpy at best. But i did catch some nice fish, not huge but a great surprise. I was fishing with a couple of buddies.
I caught first fish, nice 3 pound Coho (native). Then my friends buddy hook into a real nice humpy, probably a 5 or 6 pounder.
A few hours later (around 9am) my buddy hooked into a nice coho, about the same size a mine was. Another hour from then i hook my last fish a nice 2 to 2half pounder. We were done by 10:30.
I was using a 1&half OZ Candle fish jig that i painted with my sister in-laws fingernail polish. I use a bright red and real light peach/pink and mixed them together with some sparkles. Kinda looks sand shrimp color.

I'm definitely going back there.
