well 2 day me and my brother decided to go fish at secret beach after being skunked at chambers the past 2 days.and i caught a rock fish and my brother caught a small sucker.but sorry no pic for the suck.but we took a pic of the rock fish since its the first i ever caught.but man the water was so clear you could see hundreds of i think herring swimming around.we got some big bites but nothing really big enough to keep.i would really like to catch a big enough salmon to eat since i have never caught one and ate it.I've only ate like rainbow and cutt's and lin cod and I've had rock fish and it was alright.but i really would like to try some deep fried salmon. but all in all it was a great evening. 2 marrow were launching out my boat. in hopes for some king's possibly.any tips on how to catch kings? i know buzz bombs work.but i don't got one. I've got a bunch of curred shrimp and salmon eggs and herring.and worms.so would work best and in what method thanks

nice catch but that actually looks more like a cabezon or a large red irish lord the pic is fuzzy but i would put my money on a cabezon. great eating

went to google and looked for cabezon and a red irish lord and neaither of them look like this fish.if you look in the regs book on page 106 look at the copper rock fish and then look at my fish.the top fins look the same even the colours so i think id put my money on it being a rock fish.but who really knows what type of fish it really is.but it really looks like a copper rock fish.and id say this thing was at least 2 lbs if not that then 1.5lbs easy..
