Fished Jeff Head again today. This time it was the native game again. This last Tuesday I managed an aprox. 15 and 25# natives and heard that the bite was on at West Point that day - would have been nice to know that a bit ahead of time. Oh well :) Well, I skipped one day, then went back at it again today. Hit a 5LB native blackie and another, oh I'd say a 13 pound native chinookie with 125 feet of cable out in 165 feet of water trolling northward on a moderate ebb at Jeff Head. Managed to hook another 9 pound native which went back as well. So far, it's been near 0/7 for me in the Sound, but that's fine. I'm not out for the meat, but more so the fun. It has been spotty but just a blast. I used a Hot Spot Green & Glo e-Chip 8" flasher behind a 34" leader to a Funky Chicken Coyote Spoon 3.5" and Army Truck hootchie (leader was 30" with an 11" green & glo). I will be fishing MA-13 for the last week of the season, so look for one final report! Get out there tomorrow for the last day of King retention in MA's 9 and 10. Tight lines!! KTK
