Rain wind and cold, three words that describe my fishing trip this afternoon. In an attempt to avoid cleaning a room in the house I escaped to go clean the Puget sound of empty plastic bags and a balloon.
The good news was the wind assisted my casts as it was coming from my back. One guy came by and said "You don't know when to call it quits do you?" I replied "Yes I do, I just don't have the sense to head back to the car right now."
Six people were fishing when I arrived and nobody remained by the time I left. A word to the people using cooked shirmp meat..... Fish eat there shrimp raw.... get it raw and you will have a better chance of catching something. Also please put your garbage into the garbage cans not into the sound.
After about an hour of fishing I started playing target practice, it helped that SOMEBODIES didn't use the garbage cans when they left as I now had a target to aim for. Several casts later and I removed a couple of bags. Spotted another bag and began targeting it as well. Somewhere in the middle of that I caught a small shaker and then lost a bag of my own. I finally retrieved my lost bag when three balloons gained freedom from the passerby child in stroller.
In one cast I killed one of the balloons but was able to retrieve the other two. Jr. wasn't impressed and screamed that puffy the blue balloon was now dead.
