went out to diamond point at 4am this morning for the low tide to fly fish with the girl friend. georgus sunrise!, howevere we fished for 4 hours, I was using floating fly line with a sink leader and all i caught was a 1 inch baby halibut, i didnt even realize it was on my line until i casted back a fouth a few times and realized that my fly line was screwing up cause there was some dinky fish on. and my gf was using a spinning rod with a pink buzzbomb and never got a bite. i just dont get it, i thought the pinks were gonna be in by now, every one said pinks will be in mid july.......so much for that. oh well the water was calm and a georgus day up there
