Garret, I was on Vashon island today. Pinks were jumping and being caught all over the Southworth ferry terminal.

I saw 200+ people beach fishing just south of Mukilteo last night.. It was dark, about 9:30 at night. The humpy fisherman have arrived hope the humpies are there to accommodate. Now a comment for your post. I fished that area for 25 years. I worked on a harbor tug in Seattle. The fish don't bite very well up at the bridge at times. Keep trying. I always used a 4" regular width or a 3.5 in wide white with a blur or green stripe. If the water is real muddy or visibility is just a few feet. try a BB called 50/50... two tone black/dark grey. Use blue smelly jelly liquid on the bomb, cast out and let the lure sit till it almost hits bottom. What I did was cast out and and count the seconds till it hits bottom and then you will have an idea when to start your retrieve. I lift the pole and drop it to quickly let it flutter down ..... take a few wraps and do it again. The kings are hard to entice, but if you switch to a pink 2.5 " BB you will get humpies if they are running. BTW, I always used 20lb line so it could take the constant rubbing of the lure. Last item.... Fishing at night on the flood tide works well. A good place to try down town is over at the pier on the way to Alki. Hope you get this message (the humps are running now. I saw thousands jumping from Possession south and crossing over to Edmonds) and all along the east an west side. They ranged from the surface down to 90 feet. good luck, Steve
