Showed up around 7 am. I rented a boat as usual from the NW corner of the lake. Between Randy and I, we caught 4 perch, 2 Rock and 1 LM bass. I cant seem to figure out how and where to catch them on lures, always on worm and bobber.
Had major difficulties with the trolling motor rented and this really cut down on my fishing time. Had to go back to the dock and switch one bad motor for another. When I tried to leave the lake around 1:45, the motor REALLY gave out and just then the wind picked up and blew us to the North side of the lake. No matter how hard we rowed, we were stuck. Finally, after I got out and walked back to the dock, we got some help...A NEW MOTOR!! Didn't actually leave until 4:00 and was very disgusted with the boat owner. He did give us some of the money back but would advise if you rent from there, ask for a new motor and a good battery. Also the boat leaked pretty good (they gave us a sponge to keep the water out of the boat). Never going back.......and YES, BASS is the only way to go!!
