Met up with returnofthefish at browns point at 4:30am. Started fishing it up at 5:00am (Dark)
The crown was fast to arrive right after us. With in an hour the banks were starting to get very full. Most everyone was throwing the ever popular buzz bomb, in what else, pink flavor.
The only bite that we saw happend around high tide with several nice pinks caught and lost.
Those pinks shure look like they can be fighsty if you get the right one. No rime or reason to location on the bank. (all over) Picked up to move over to the Dash point state park beach at about 10am. As we pulled into the parking lot There was The sign we were hoping for, a man walking a fish to the cooler in his car. (Yes!!!!) Worked the beach out as far as we could go as the tide continued to move out. Boy you can realy get out there on a low tide. At one point around 12 noon I looked off to My left and I was way further out then the Dash point dock. Felt like I was standing in the middle of the sound. I recommend it to anyone to check out. No fish for Me again and returnofthefish is still working on that first salmon of the Year also. Final had to get out of there at 12:30. I needed to gear up for a Boat ride I had planned with oldhooker at redondo at 3:00. trolling for pinks now. This is going to be one long day.
