Arrived at the Everett boat launch at about 6:00 am and joined a long line out on Marine View Drive. By about 6:50 we were actually launching the boat with about 75 other boaters. The parking lot was nearly full. I was told that someone was run over at the launch at about 5:00 am which resulted in a police investigation which slowed launching and piled up the arriving boats waiting to launch.
Lines in the water by 7:30. We fished until 12:45 and ended up with 2 silvers and 4 pinks. We both lost a big fish which we believed were also silvers and while pulling up our lines, I briefly hooked a nice pink that surfaced right behind the boat and spit the barbless hook. All in all a good trip but the pinks seemed to be absent for the most part. Not as many jumping and not as many on the finder. I enjoyed a nice BBQ’ed silver fillet with a salad for dinner tonight and it was great. Pictured are the three I caught. The silver was 24 inches and one of the two pinks was 23”. All nice healthy fish.
