We have fished Westport almost weekly this summer and the charter we wen on has been our best friend. They have worked hard to accomadate our group and have done a perfect job. After salmon season ended 9 of us wanted to go bottom fishing so we booked on another boat, that was a huge mistake. The captain ran out of fuel and we were dead in the water for almost an hour drifting toward shore while he changed tanks and primed the engine. We would have felt better if he had called the coast gaurd. The deck hand was sarcastic to the passangers as well as the captain, he was also foul mouthed and kicked our ice chest out of his way and cursed us out but when one guy in our party got a hook in his paints he cut the levis to get the hook back.
