Well we left the house this morning at 2 am for the drive to sekiu, on the drive there we came very close to hitting a deer that decided she wanted to be on the other side of the road lol..well we ended up pulling in sekiu about 6:15 no wind very few clouds in the sky, beautifull morning with high expecations from the reports i have heard from people i know...we launches the boat and if you going there beware there are no docks in till may..we motored out to 150 ft mark and put the dowriggers down to 140 green flsher with a brads cutplug on 1 and green flasher with green coho killer on the other, just as soon the sun popped up the wind began blowing getting harder as the morning wore on..trolled for about 30 mins and the first one went off we fought it for about 10 mins and it spit the hook..put the dowrigger back down and 5 mins later it went off again and ended up being a 16 lb blackmouth, now the brads cutplug 2 sppon 0 so i pulled up the rigger again and changed to a brads cutplug..we motored back up to in front of the caves where we started and got both riggers in trolled for another 30 mins and hit our 3 rd fish and got it in nice 9 lb blackmouth so we broke the rods down and headed in with the wind howling the tide rising nice 6 ft swell with 2 feet of wind chop in my open center console boat it was a wet ride in.....tight line to all
