Went fishing on a charter boat out of westport. The Captain and Mate really went the extra mile to get us fish. Many fisherpersons caught more than the limit, and of course some people like myself caught wild fish that had to be let go. Nephew caught a 25 pounder that had a lopped off adipose fin, but it has partially grown back ( probably a slacker in cutting caused it) The Captain rather than incur the rath of the fishery people said throw it back. Probably a smart decision.

Can't stress how respectful and nice the captain and deckhand were in helping the crowd. Even though i didn't catch a fish someone else caught way more than 2 and i got a fish to take home.

Water was pretty nice, not flat, but not a storm either. And as i said before many people caught multiple fish up to 25-30 pounds.

Will i go again, just looking at when i can schedule another trip with these people once it opens for wild fish too.....
