Didn't hit the water until almost 3pm today. Ran about a quarter mile south of the boat launch at Redondo and dropped the pots in 100 feet of water and headed out salmon fishing. We were using a mix of bait, but mostly flounder. Returned at 7 pm and pulled up very full pots, almost all keepers, ended up having to toss some back for soft shells and such but went home with 2 limits and a nice big rock crab that made it into the pot as well. Tasty tasty...

While we were crabbing we headed over to the south end of maury island, there was tons and tons of bait fish balls, we could see them on the surface, they would show up at all levels, but didn't get any hits for big fish around them. Gave up on salmon after about 3 hrs, and dropped bait to the bottom and caught 13 more flounder for the bait boxes, they were a little small for filets, but the crab don't seem to mind.
