Okay, we actually went fishing all day and night until wednesday about 7 pm. Only caught 1 chinook and it was 1/2 hr into the fishing. Actually sooner than that, had my step daughter in the boat, the tide had just hit the high and was starting to go out, I dropped a coyote double glow with green and red to 60 feet in 140 fow and then went to the other downrigger, before I could get it even started she started screaming saying there is something wrong with the downrigger, I looked and told her to reel it in. Finally a fish, one little 24" King, thought maybe it was a good sign. Fished till 1:30 am, took a 3 hr nap and then fished until 7 pm. That was it. On Wednesday morning watched probably close to a dozen get caught jigging between Pt. Defiance and south end of Vashon. Tried everything I had in the boat, jigs, plugs, spoons and hoochies.
Glad I started crabbing, wednesday we went home with 10 crabs,
