Young Soo and I fished what is usually a very productive private dock. We fished about six hours and
only caught three 13-14 inchers worth keeping. We fished the entire water column with Turbo and regular Power Bait.
There are a lot of 4-5 inchers that can clean off your bait without making any indications of nibbles,
especially with a wind blowing. Once in a while they manage to impale themselves on a #14 hook.
Well at least the cormorants have left for the Pot Holes to make more baby cormorants, or they's they'd have cleaned up on these tiny fish. They'll be good sized by Fall, those that survive the other bigger fish.
P.S: If you are at the Pot Holes and see a cormorants nest with eggs, do a nature study: Crack open the eggs
to make sure they fertile, but be sure to be careful when you replace the eggs.
