Hit Ilwaco Wed-Thur-Fri in private boat. Wed was slow, a couple of silvers that we could keep. I had three hook ups within the first couple of hours, bringing in two nice wilds which got cut loose before I landed my hatcher. We were inside the CR buoy this time.

Thurs, we tried the river, hearing it was 'hot'. Hmmmm, compared to?? We landed a silver and one king. I got skunked. And the fight from the silver was just about boring. Enough of that.

Friday, we headed out past the CR buoy. We were past it a few miles by the end of the morning. We landed 5 total, 3 silvers and two kings.

Crabbing is ok, not as hot as last year (yet). Had great weather, no complaints.

All three days, we used cut herring for the most part, some whole. Tried Brad's new plug which I did catch one king on. Color's for the flashers ran about even between orange and green for success.

Charters weren't killing them by any means. We all felft pretty good in comparison.
