This report is for the 12th and 13th.
My Sekiu report: Fishing was great, catching was great, and keeping sucked!

I got to Sekiu Sunday after noon and fishn2gthr4ever took me out for the evening bottom fishing. That was fun and the Greenling were the only fish I got to bring home. On the way back we trolled flasher and cookies and crème spoons to get several Kings we couldn’t keep. I got at least 4 adults in that hour troll. The other rod got close to the same. We even had doubles. There are many shakers.
We went out about 6:30am on Monday morning and it was raining. This rain did not show up on the morning weather predictions but we got soaked by 9am. We trolled for Coho and found some Kings. I put on the lure I made up and put a purple haze squid (that is what Glen called it) over it. We got into several Coho shakers in this area. They were both wild and clipped. I pulled in the only adult wild Coho which we had to release. I think we got into more Kings before we went in.
After an afternoon nap we went back out to try to find those Coho. We didn’t but there are lots of Kings. We caught several more before I had to leave to get home. Lots of shakers.
It finally cleared up and was nice just before I left.
