Started the day about 1:00pm,fished the shallows with a crankbait, on my 4th cast I hooked a 2lb 8 oz smallmouth the biggest I've caught on this lake. 3hrs later I failed to produce a single hit. Fishing should get better as the water warms and if the jet boats and water skiers stay off the water. I don't understand why these type of boats have to come to the shallows where the fishermen or women are trying to fish!
