Took the kid fishing early morning. Wasn't much action got a couple of 12 inchers and was getting ready to pack it up when i saw a huge rainbow swim right in front of the dock (had to be at least 8lbs.) Fished a couple more hours and my 3 yr old got himself a 4 pounder on ultra light gear.

Came back later that evening caught a lot a small ones and a 2 pounder, released them all.

We fished worm and bobber with a four foot leader. Others were fishing crome spinners and a small rattlin' crank bait. They were catching a lot of fish. One kid with a spinner caught a rainbow over 5lbs.

The lake is doin' pretty good, and the fish are easy to catch. So take a kid fishin' there and they'll have a chance at some trophy trout as well as pretty fast action.
