I went out with Glen, Cami, and Kim. We launched at Pt Defiance launch and were fishing the slag pile around 5:30am. There Glen and Kim picked up 2 kings one of which had a funny shaped extra fin so it went back and the clipped one for Kim weighted 12 pounds caught on a cookies and crème spoon with a tiny bit of herring on it. I caught the most dogfish and it didn’t matter where we were.
We fished around the south end of Vashon Island for pinks and found some at the entrance to Quartermaster harbor. There we boated 5 before we headed in about 2:30pm. I caught my pinks on a DPS 3.
The weather was not what we expected as it got cloudy and cooler as the morning progressed and then it cleared around noon.
The tides were High 3:56 AM 10.5 feet Low 10:45 AM -1.1 feet
High 6:09 PM 11.8 feet
