Had the day off to take care of family things, so about 1:30 I decided to head to Browns Pt. Since the Puyallup river is a combat zone I was hoping to find a spot at the sound. Got a parking spot with no problems and the place was not that busy. Started out with a buzz bomb and no hits so this guy gave me a Jig and on my 1st cast with that I had 3 fish follow it in to about 4 feet in front of me. On my 3rd cast I had one on. It was a small hen about 4lbs but I was happy. One guy just down from us was catching an either losing it or snagging constantly. I mean just about every cast he had a fish on, and he was using the same jigs as the rest of us. Go figure. So about an hour later I had another fish on and this on was about a 6.5lb hen. I lost about 4 myself. I was surprised how many fish were still being caught, even at slack tide. By about 5:00 the wind really came up and made it difficult to cast so I packed it in with my fish. Had a great afternoon and the guys down there were very friendly & helpful.
