Went to Kayak with Toni2 (she's new to the site, but I told her she should make an account) Almost limited on dungies, caught flounder, perch, dungies, red rocks! Then Hooked into tons of pinks all day long mainly morning and evening! None landed! :( then when i thought things couldnt get any worse, one of the thicker rods had a crab flap trap with a pink salmon head on it! So Its in the corner of the pier and saw it peeling line as i left the bail open by accident and kept peeling! So I figured really big dofish or stergeon when i took me half way across the pier and almost took me over the rail! Im 18 yes i know im strong, but with the fight it would of drag anybody over! So I yelled for my chair to embrace it and my feet on the fence rail thingy! I fight it for 5 minutes or so! then I was thinking no dogfish, so i thought it had to be a 50 plus inch stergeon and i trapped the tail or the head in the trap! Nope 150 yards out it surafaces, big seal! DAMN!!!! but saw anchovies and smelt swim through!!!
