April is really to early to fish. The lake is not warm enough. I have been fish Lena Lake for 22 years. Best time is late May to beginning of
October. About 90% of the time I limit out. During August the lake drops very low that is when the fish are jumping like crazy for flies. P.S. Still looking for the big ones.
