Launched at 530 from Luhr beach, went north to deep water dropped pots at 70', 120' 130' and 140'. This was my first time at Nisqually and everything I read said go deep. I didn't think the tide was extreme but it was enough to sink my floats. I had read that if that happens they will come back at tide change. They did come up, one at a time with five long minuets between. The hole time I am thinking I have lost pots. If I go back I will put more floatation on the line. I did put weight in the pot already.
I used fish scraps and chicken for bait. The 70' pot came up with 2 dungeness at 7" and 7 3/4". All but one pot had rock crab for a total of 7. We pulled out after tide change around 930.
