I'm just blown away. This was my first boat limit and we were done by noon. What's better is that my dad was there for it and broke a 30 year curse on fishing together! He came in from VT and we fished together for the first time in years - thank you God! All fish were caught using either a Race Car or Army Truck Flasher, Hootch (green with blue splatter back) with a glow/chartreuse mylar insert tied on a 24-26" leader, shrimp scent. Incoming tide, 50' deep in 70' of water. Last fish was off shipwreck. This last fish was the biggest he ever caught in his life!

I wanted to thank everyone for all of their posts and tips - Mike, you are doing a great job and helped my Dad have the time of his life, Thanks.

Here's some of the trip, enjoy!

very cool, glad for your success. It was weird to find the bar devoid of boats when we went on Tuesday. I understand there are plenty of fish closer to shore, but man, it's neat to be out there on Possession.

When we went out, we passed well over a hundred boats off the Shipwreck - there were less than 10 at Possession. That said, we had to bail because it got too bumpy at 10:30...when we got back over to Shipwreck it was glass. Here's the funny one, when my Dad caught the big one, we had just pulled inside the crowd near the shore, dropped our lines in for less than 3 minutes when he had that on. He brought it in like a master and I got to be his net man! What a true gift. He's back in VT now and rethinking how to spend his retirement...Thanks Mike and all the people that post on these forums - we have a great community here and it just gave my Dad and me a memory for a lifetime.

Awesome to see yet another great report on the salt and with lifetime memories thrown in for taste! What an amazing year for the Puget Sound coho. Sure hope this is the beginning of a multiyear trend.
