Went to Mukilteo to cast off the beach for Coho. Used my favorite, the chartreuse Rotator, 2 1/2 oz. with a touch of Smelly Jelly. Saw only a couple of other fishermen while I was there. Arrived at about 7:30AM... high tide at 10:30ish. Fished through the tide change, then changed up to a herring under a float on the out-going tide... nada! Saw a couple of fish launch out of the water early, just south of my location, but no hits, no follows, no runs... sounds like the Mariners! Did see a number of Sea Lions patrolling out front, and saw one with a salmon and a flock of Gulls picking up the scraps! A bajillion boats south, at Shipwreck, but seemed that even they were calling it a day, early. Once the sun gets high, it seems the fish leave the beaches and head for the deep! Left at about 1:30PM. PTL!
