Got to the port hadlock boat launch around 7am, launched and ran to the west side of whidbey island. Pretty slow until the tide which was at 930. Caught the first fish which was a coho jack on a herring dodger and a cut plug with 8 oz of lead. The second fish was a nice hatch coho about 7lbs caught off the downrigger with a flasher and cut plug. The third and final fish of the day was about the same as the second but caught with the lead and cut plug. Not a bad day, fished for another 2 hours after the tide with no action so we called it a day.
