Got up early and went out with my pals. I think we were in the water no later then 0635. I barely could rig up my line fast enough. we were dropping our lines in when some guys fly in front of our boat within 20' and instantly- fish on. while my buddy and I are scratching our heads and thinking that could of be ours.. Game on.. We were serious at this point. We'll catch our limit each! So onward we go.. Waiting, good conversations, a few others land some, my buddy looses 90' downrigger line & ball.. see a seal or 3... Mid conversation BAM! Something takes my line! 5# coho! caught her at about 85'+ around 1100 I think.. toss that one in the cooler then take some more pictures. rig up herring again.. put down to about 100' and BAM! Another! This one fought for a good minute. More photos, Limit! I'd say it was a good day for me to limit out. Now to replace what was apparently worn out and try again.
