Ok, so I stopped by the mouth of Chico creek on my way home to see what the buzz is about..... The place is loaded with fish!! I parked the motorcycle and walked down to the beach and everyone is hooking up left and right, thinking to myself, why didn't I bring any gear?!
A guy in front of me caught a real bright hen and another guy said that he would deep fry it... HUH? Lol, I dunno if anyone else does this but that's cool man. Most people were using a corky on a long leader and some were throwing bobbers and small jigs or beads. I stood around for about an hour and watched all the madness to see if anyone could pull in a silver but didn't see any. I'm cutting out of work early tomorrow for some fun fishing and just maybe get a fresh one, see y'all there!

It is a pretty fun fishery but gets sort of crowded at times but the people are usually really cool with a lot of fly fisherman out there. There are plenty of spots to move around too and fish are everywhere when they are in. Watch your tides though as if you are out there and the tide starts coming in fast, you can get yourself in some deep water in a hurry! I will be there 1st light tomorrow until I get too busy and have to go to work so may see you there
