Ok, so I stopped by the mouth of Chico creek on my way home to see what the buzz is about..... The place is loaded with fish!! I parked the motorcycle and walked down to the beach and everyone is hooking up left and right, thinking to myself, why didn't I bring any gear?!
A guy in front of me caught a real bright hen and another guy said that he would deep fry it... HUH? Lol, I dunno if anyone else does this but that's cool man. Most people were using a corky on a long leader and some were throwing bobbers and small jigs or beads. I stood around for about an hour and watched all the madness to see if anyone could pull in a silver but didn't see any. I'm cutting out of work early tomorrow for some fun fishing and just maybe get a fresh one, see y'all there!
