My buddy and I got up at 5:00 AM to hit the slag pile in our kayaks in search of lingcod. Caught one lingcod that was too small and a whole bunch of flounder. The flounder were pretty good sized so we kept two of them and released everything else. We were using live herring and some jigs. The water got pretty rough around 10:00 so we paddled back and called it a morning. Not great fishing but what a great morning to be on Puget Sound!!!
