Well I am now 6 for 6 and I have to give today a 5 star! Took my buddy out again for another ling trip. We went and caught our bait and then headed to the hole. We both start dropping our lines and I hit bottom and immediately crank up 10 feet off the bottom, before I even take my hand off the crank of the reel my pole loads up and for a fraction of a second thought it was snagged on structure. Well line started peeling and head started shaken and I knew it was fish on!!! I said "got one" and my buddy thought I was bsing. Then he looks over and starts saying things like I hate you, your an a**hole and nice things like that (joking of coarse). Netted the fish and was done with less then a minute of fishing before hooking a sweet 35 inch ling!! My buddy ended up catching one but it was 25 inches and had to go back. Fog was real thick but burned off and was a beautiful day.
