Ever have a day were you can’t buy a bite? I had one today. I went with Cami and Glen of F24 starting at 5:30am by the Girl Scout Camp (Stealth). One person that was there at first light and a regular already had one and got another shortly after we got there, getting his limit.
I tried Zebra Mojo, then F24 Mojo but nothing. I was trying to stay about 1/3 of the way from bottom. Glen put on a Shamrock Mojo then switching to the cookies and cream and that is what everything was caught on. He was fishing on bottom, 60-130 feet. Cami lost a salmon about the size that Glen got in (fish checker said 30.75 inches). Glen also released a couple of shakers and 3 dogfish. One was really big (4-5 foot).
I even put on a cookies and cream spoon, fishing the bottom and still could not get any bites. But Glen gave me ½ the salmon so I still get to eat fish! We stopped about 10:30am. It was a fun day...teasing Cami about crackering that fish. :-)
Tides were: Low 4:22 AM 3.5 feet High 9:51 AM 8.6 feet
