Decided to try my luck for a humpy today (never caught one before, never really tried). Arrived at Redondo at 515am and fished the beach for about 90 minutes. Pretty crowded, saw two pinks caught during that time by other people. Had to pick up my boat from Gig Harbor at 9am, so decided to head down there early and try Tacoma Narrows Park. Fished from about 730-830am. Caught my first ever pink, and had a blast. Prob not the hottest day of fishing for most, so I rated it a 3 but certainly a 5 for me.
Caught mine on a hot pink Buzz Bomb, and I believe the others I saw were caught on the same.
