First time at Five Mile in about 4 years. 6pm, Fished off the south end? (opposite end from the swimming area) dropped the crappie jig on the inside corner of the dock for about 20 minutes without so much as a bump, tried the all along the dock for about the next 30 minutes, same results. Threw a medium size white spinner bait on the bass rod and fished from the corner of the dock towards the shore got one good bump on the second cast and nothing the next 20 minutes. Rigged the UL with power bait on 16" leader and fished the next 30 minutes, still no luck. No wonder I haven't been there in 4 years.
