8/20/2013 3:38:00 PMYou can fish Owen beach no problem. It's best if you go down the shore towards the claybanks because the current goes crazy through there with bait. I caught this fish right in front of the little day use shelter on the beach. Good fishing for silvers.

8/21/2013 12:34:00 AMi think i saw you. another pink was caught sunday and today. saw what was probably a coho jump too. I walk down there almost every morning that i'm not out in the boat. go try by the concrete stairs if you feel like a walk, saw a king caught there in 40ft of water by one of the boathouse regulars. see many salmon jump there along that hump all year.
at mong, yes its allowed. just gets kinda crowded with non fishers on nice days.
