Left the Everett ramp at 6:15. 3 rods, me, my friend Pat and his grandson. Got the first Pinky 5 minutes after we put the DR down, which was immediately taken by a seal and we reeled in a head! Wound up with 11 Pinks and one Silver, and oh by the way, released a Chinook in the low 20's. I was quite surprised to get a Chinook, considering we were about halfway between Shipwreck and Possession in 500 foot of water. It was fun for my friends 10 yo grandson to play the fish, even though it was obviously released, his first ever Chinook. Very strong out tide, 1.5 minus low and 11 foot high, 12.5 feet of runoff. We trolled with the tide starting out about one mile north of Shipwreck and trolling to about 2 miles south of Shipwreck and then running back up and doing it again. I like covering water. Worked for us, we were done by 10:30. Standard size white flasher and full size pink squids with a salted herring strip, 80-90 feet on the DR, dead slow troll.
