I got to the road leading to the parking lot at 5:15 and already it was backed up to the top of the first hill. More people than last week. My brother and pinkpole were a few cars behind me. We get through the gate and stake out where we wanted to fish. I saw a few looking at my DPS 1 but they didn’t want it. I changed to a DPS 5 for the rest of the day. It was slow. I did talk with salmonbarry for a while. He had already been to Redondo and came to Dash Point for a report. It was slow. From 2-2:30pm it picked up and my brother, Richard and I, got 2 each, pinkpole 0. After 2:30 it slowed a bit and we decided to go. The next day a regular said it picked up again about 3pm. It was a long day and I was exhausted but still had go to tie jigs. I met (Dave from California) who got a couple of jigs from me and pinkpole who kept losing them and not always to fish. I was going to make her a custom one. The tides were:
High 3:11 AM 11.2 Low 10:03 AM -1.7 High 5:13 PM 11.9
