Hit he San Juan's first light, getting to the spot took about an hour. Started fishing 5:30ish. 5 minutes into trolling and bam! Fish on. Stupid shaker. Let that one go. 10 minutes later another one, Fish on!!! Another shaker. Starting to get in the strike zone! Yes! 20 minutes later, bam!!!fish on. A big as pink at 110' down. Wow kind of weird. About another 30 minute another bite. Fish on!!!! Only 2 of us on the boat and fish on. My job was to concentrate on netting the fish and driving the damn boat. Missed 5 time netting this hen, landed it, 28lbs king!!!! Yes!!! High fives here and there, partner is shaking and stuttering from all the adrenaline! Lol I thought it was funny but we got 1 on the boat. Bite slowed down as I was watching the poles. Around 11am I started to guide again and like 30 minutes into it, all I hear is fish on!!!! I hurry of to the pole and started to crank the reel and oh yeah it was fish on!!!! Fought it for 15 minutes and then landed it. Big smiles all around. 22lbs and this king put up a better fight than the 28#er! Lol all caught on huge spoons.

I was trolling east and west if that help. Cypress sounds really familiar. It might be eagles point. Let me ask my fishing buddy
