Tried our luck on a gorgeous afternoon. We left Everett around 4:30 thinking we'd hit the high tide perfect. Fished from about halfway between Mukilteo to the Shipwreck, then puttered around the shipwreck until sundown. We had one fish on, but nothing in the boat. Saw a couple caught. We were using flashers and hoochies with herring strips, fishing between 70 and 100 feet of cable out. I'm thinking we didn't go deep enough.

At this time of the day, sundown, you might be way too deep. I would try 30-50

Actually for us, south of the Wreck, from Picnic Pt on down to the old Meadowdale Marina has been the spot. The fish are scattered, trolling with the tide helps, you cover much more water that way. Start out trolling with the tide with couple miles, then start your main mtr and run back uptide and do it over again. We limited the boat Tues and Wed in that area and were done by 10-11AM. The tide was going out both days in the morning. We started trolling about 2 miles north of the Wreck and trolled to Meadowdale, started the main mtr ran back uptide and did it again. Worked in past years real well, and this year too. You just have to cover water. Silvers aren't like Chinooks which tend to seek structure and hang out in one place, Silvers can be anywhere. As for depth keep moving the downrigger up/down until you locate the right depth.
