Well we waited patiently to let the WDFW let us keep the pinks we saw rolling and jumping about a week earlier, so the first weekend after MA7E/Bellingham Bay was open, I took a couple buddies and my 7 year old daughter out to get some pinks. Man we were not disappointed! Goal #1 was obviously to put SOME fish in the boat as the last few weekends were kinda trying on my patience, but goal #2 was to get my daughter her first salmon. Needless to say we met both goals and had to go home after only two hours of fishing. It was so good that we ended up going out the next day with my girlfriend on board (because she didn't believe us) and same thing. Boat limit in two hours. We put 16 in the boat on Saturday and 20 in on Sunday. Cant wait until the 2015 run now!
