Big difference in a week, last week we were culling dungeness this week we couldn't find any legal size that weren't soft. We ended up with 4 red rock. Bait was fish parts, pots were in 50 to 100 ft. dropped in at 7, checked them after about 1 hr and reset deeper, still did no good when we pulled them at 10. I don't know if it was the tide deference or they were pick clean last week. I hope the tide. Tacoma Marine officer said they were deep do to the heat. He said go around 200 ft.
My big motor quit showing water flow so we were using the 8hp kicker and knew it would take some time to get in so we quit early. When we got home I blew air back thru the discharge hole and that seemed to clear it out, flowing good now.
Got checked at the launch Tacoma PD nice friendly guys they pointed out I had forgot to renew my registration. Don't know how I missed it but I have it now. They said on the water it would have been $240. So I am glad they told me where and when they did. Everything else was fine.

The DMV has made some changes and no longer send out renewals for boat registration, according to the license agency. I got notice for my boat trailer but not the boat so when I went in to get trailer license I asked about boat. I was able to register the boat as well, but BEWARE you may not get the boat renewal in mail anymore. Would have been nice for them to let us know about the change. I was also told that you can now get your boat registration sticker when and where you get fishing license.

Boat registration is due by June 31 for everyone is probably why there's no more reminders sent out. I haven't gotten out for crab yet, but looks like I'll be using my shrimp lines...
