The morning brought what seemed like utter chaos in Sekiu. I waited 20 minutes to check out of my cabin. Boats were lined up to launch at Olson’s all the way to Van Ripers. People for Olson’s kept riding around looking for places for people to park, directing them to it. I have never seen it like this. Boat trailers were parked up the hill on Washington street almost to #112. There were people camping at the top of the hill across 112. It was amazing.
We headed out toward the west but not as far as yesterday. Somewhere north of Eagle Point. We proceeded to get the boats limit of 8 Coho in 2 hours. I used Coho Mojo with a Hot Spot Green Glo Flasher and the new Red Neck-lace on a Q-Cove Flasher in some sort of Crush. As we finished a north-east wind came up and there were swells and it got nasty. Standing on the hill looking down at the bay we could see the whitecaps and the boats moving with the waves at the docks.
