hit a couple spots near where others were fishing along the jetty in both westport and the state park just outside, twin harbors I think. tried a beach for perch too. caught and released 2 perch. was using clams from a can and tried shrimp from another, probably needed better bait. haven't done this kind of fishing since the 90s and only did it a few times. more research needed.

one guy on the jetty told he he hooked a 6 gill, I didn't see it though. saw a family and another lone guy digging razor clams, west. saw the buckets of the family. was unaware it was open. wondering where they were able to drive they're suv onto the beach.
