A strong ebb on the bar made for a tuff crossing. The ocean was good with 5 to 7 foot swell. It's about a 2 hr. ride to Tillamook head where the black rock were stacked up for a rapid fire shoot out at the OK corral. We landed over 100 rock fish in a 45 minute period.

Salmon fishing is still strong. On Friday we had 10 people plus crew. Fishing was slow in the morning. A rip formed off shore in about 350 feet and we went from 9 salmon on board to 24 salmon in about 15 minutes. Most boats are limiting while native stocks appear to be in great shape or the hatcheries missed clipped a lot of fish.
