Chinook Salmon

Walked out to the clay banks this morning to throw some lures around and see if anything was around. I didn't get any hits, saw bait jumping and saw a seal. There were a couple people there prior, they caught a small ling cod, but we're fishing for pinks. On the walk back I found a super small octopus. The coolest thing ive seen out there for sure. It was a beautiful and relaxing walk.

Lol, from the thumb nail pic, it looks like your thumb is mangled. I thought "shark week, a shark got his thumb" , but instead a cool octopuss. Good eye, nice find. I heard the Chinook picked up the last few days with limits at the girl scout camp. One guy pulled a limit in 45 minutes, wish me luck tomorrow. Anyone know what depth I should be targeting, thanks......

Wow... Didn't know Octopi started out that small. Looks almost like a jellyfish. How'd you spot it? Eagle eyes! :)
