My friend Stephen and his Son Michael joined me for a fishing trip to Lawrence Lake. I read that that the lake was stocked with 8,000 fish recently. Sad to say the ole fish finder was not lighting up with
a large amount of fish bleeps.

It happened to be Stephens birthday so he was allowed a kitchen pass
for some fishing. His son started the action off with 2 stockers. I was next with 2 additional stockers that hit fairly hard. Then it was Stephens turn to catch 2 more. His Son Michael hooked in and caught a nice carryover 2 pound trout. Not to be out done on his
Birthday Stephen hooked into a 3 pound Rainbow. His fish resulted in
a scramble to get the salmon net. Both of the larger fish were salmon
pink inside. We were lucky and also avoided the rain that was projected on Saturday which made it a bonus BD for Stephen.
