Beach again. Loads of people fishing again. Very few fish caught left at 8:30. Nice morning at least. You can tell its pink season. Unethical fishers are out in force. Why are you killing fish if you don't plan on keeping them for yourself. Apparently people don't believe in catch and release anymore. Also must have forgot what a catch card is... Smh. Be safe out there.

That is the main reason I don't fish for pinks anymore. Can't see myself eating them so I won't keep any and all the novice and unethical anglers make it very unpleasant. I'd rather be out chasing steelhead, coho, kings and sockeye! Speaking of sockeye will be up at baker next week chasing those chrome bullets!
Tight lines!!

They were bonking pinks. Then trying to get somebody else to take them. If I had more time to get farther away from home I would be happy to give up pinks :)

Ratherbefishing, which beach are you fishing? And what kind of bait? Thanks!

Kenhsiung, there is no need to use bait for pinks, just a waste of money. Get some pink buzz bombs, jigs, spoons, and even spinners but save your money and don't use bait. Instead I would use some krill scent to add on my lures and once pink season is over you can still use krill scent for other species of salmon

+1 buzz bombs in salt. 1/4 oz jigs in river. When in doubt do what everybody else is doing. Don't waste perfectly good bait on pinks.
