Decided to go to Bush Point today, this would be my third time, first time I got my limit fast, second time I spent 6 hours fishing without a single hit,and today, well today was great! Got my limit in about 50 min!
So I checed the ferry times on Friday,it stated that the first ferry was at 5:05 am from mukilteo,so I woke up at 4am,got to the ferry dock at 4:30,and around 5 am I found out that on Saturdays earliest ferry was at 6 so I sat around anxious to get my pole in the water earlier. Finally 6am comes around I get on the ferry and grab a coffee and hope this thing goes faster... Finally we reach the dock and kind of like the Indy 500, about 10 other cars and myself race over to bush point anxious to get there before the tide was about to go out(high tide was around 6:30).
Got to Bush point around 6:50 am,there were already about 60 plus people fishing.seeing guys pulling in fish I walked faster, got to my spot and about the third cast..bam,fish on!! Bled the fish, three it on ice, filled out my catch record as fast as I could and basically about every 5-10 cast I had a fish on and had my limit in about 50 minutes!
Overall this was a great trip compared to last Tuesday when I spent 6 hours without a single hit,I was bummed out so I didn't bothe posting it on here, fish weren't big,but put up a great fight, used a pink buzz bomb(2 1/2 size) with a 12 pound line. Had a blast today, didn't even finish my coffee before I had my limit.
Fish and wildlife were out there, don't want to be a tattle tale, but there was a guy that kept 6fish,so I quietly mentioned that to the fish and wildlife officer, the guy go fined and fish seized. Remember to catch a lot of fish, fish LEGALLY,and have fun, tight lines!
