Launched at Potlatch at about 5:30, motored over to Alderbrook. Trolled between there and Union with many other boats. Tried herring, green hoochies and green spoons behind green flashers. No bites even though we were marking lots of fish on the finders. I didn't see anyone else catch anything. About 7:30 we ran back over to Hoodsport and joined several boats in shallow water working a school of pinks. My grandson caught one about 4 lbs. we saw several others caught. He was using a pink jig with hoochie tails and a trout rod.
All in all, another great day on the water. Seems to be some fish finally showing up. Hopefully it will continue to get better.
