A friend of mine and I headed to rattlesnake early on a Sunday morning. When we got there, it was blowing about 30 miles per hour, and there were white caps on the lake. In our youthful exuberance, we decided to fish anyway, despite the ungodly cold. By the time I inflated my float tube, and got my waders on, my hands were already numb. We fished for about 30 minutes making a pass along the near shore trolling wolly buggers. We weren't catching anything and decided to go in. Of course right then I hooked up with smallish rainbow, probably 8 inches.
